Kimchi Competition...and we got 1st!!!!! :D

hey ice creams :D On monday, 16th June, two of our classmates Jie sen and Nicholas went to take part in an "All Things Kimchi" competition at Tong Shui Café. Dr soh ,Ms Gan ,Amanda, Thawit and myself were there to support and experience the excitement with them. :D

so after 2 weeks of staying back in school, cooking and preparing the same dish over and over again ( 120938180247318 times)...their efforts have not gone to waste.

out of the many who submitted their dishes for the first primary round...
out of the 8 teams in the competition....
out of the only 3 NYP teams that participated...

THEY GOT FIRST PLACE!!!

they won $488, and the honour of having their speciality being made at the café itself for 2 months. and if the public really love it, it will become a permanent dish in their menu! (:

awesome right? i know haha :D

and they were on tv in case you didn't know :)

3rd place went to the team from NYP as well! (they made kimchi ice cream!)
